The 44th congregation of the Kwame Nkrumah University of Science and Technology enters its third day today.

Ace hiplife artiste, Nsiah Apau Kwame, referred to in musical parlance as Okyeame Kwame graduated with a BSc. Honours in modern languages (Akan option).

Okyeame Kwame who spoke to focus news after the ceremony could not hide his joy, saying that it was initially difficult combining his music with academics. “I had to leave music for two years to concentrate on my studies”, he said in an interview.

Okyeame Kwame’s younger brother and member of the hiplife duo- Bradez was equally excited over the achievement of his brother. Stone, as he is popularly referred to in the hiplife world lauded the determination of his brother, saying that it has not been easy.

Stone hoped that this will be an established yardstick in the family in terms on education, encouraging other artistes to pursue education.
